
The USEA Adult Rider Program is for all adults, professional or amateur, 22 years and older. The program aims to include adults across all skill and experience levels in a supportive program that promotes education, volunteerism, friendly competition, recognition, and just plain fun!

What We Do
- Support adult riders in their passion for the sport of Eventing.
- Design and provide educational programs for adults.
- Promote good sportsmanship.
- Promote respect for the horse, without whom none of this is possible.
- Develop friendships and opportunities to get to know each other at Area IX Horse Trials.
- Provide support through adult education funding opportunities.
- Volunteering, sourcing, and supporting adult rider teams at the American Eventing Championships.
How to Join
If you’re 22 or older and reside in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, or South Dakota, you can become a member of the Area IX Adult Rider Program.
Memberships are managed through the United States Eventing Association (USEA). You can sign up for Area IX during initial registration with the USEA or any time thereafter.

Giving Back
We encourage our members to volunteer at events by assisting with jump judging, dressage scribing, score running, and more.
