Dear Area IX,

As you will have seen, Skyline HT which was scheduled for early May has been postponed, and it is very likely that Spring Gulch will also be postponed at this stage. For those shows that have had to cancel or postpone, the Area IX Council will work with USEF, USEA and the Area IX Organizers to work out how get these competitions back onto the calendar later in the summer if possible.

Once we have gotten the “Return To Compete” clearance, the Area IX Council will also do all that it can to adjust qualifying requirements for the Area Championships to enable our members to participate, qualify and enjoy our sport.

Meanwhile, join me in practicing patience (personally, the hardest skill to master) and stay healthy, safe and hopeful.
