Area IX is honored to carry forward the cherished awards traditionally granted by the former MSEA (Mountain States Eventing Association). These are perpetual awards handed out each year; to keep alive the spirit of MSEA, Area IX is requiring additional requirements for riders to be eligible for these awards.

Rules and Eligibility for MSEA Awards:

Open to ALL Area IX Members.

REQUIRES 6 volunteer hours (separate from the 4 hours required by MSEA/CCC for their year end awards). Hours can be fulfilled at ANY clinic/activity/event within Area IX that is sanctioned or insured through USEA – check with the organizer of the event if you are unsure.

You can have a “Surrogate” perform hours on your behalf.
