USEA & USEF Roll Out New Tests for All National Levels
The United States Eventing Association (USEA) and United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) have officially released a complete set of new national dressage tests for the 2026 competition season. These new tests are now available online and will take effect December 1, 2025.
This is the first comprehensive update since 2018, and the new tests reflect current training priorities, enhanced clarity for riders, and continued alignment with international standards.

Each test was designed to prioritize rideability, clarity of purpose, and horse-and-rider progression through the levels. The updates are the result of extensive collaboration between top riders, judges, and trainers in the U.S. eventing community.

The new tests will be used at all national competitions starting December 1, 2025, marking the official start of the 2026 season.
