Local Chapters

AREA IX LOCAL/REGIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

In addition to the USEA-Recognized region known as “Area IX,” consisting of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and South Dakota, there are also several localized chapters within Area IX that are dedicated to supporting and enriching the sport of eventing.

Mountain States Eventing Association (MSEA) is the most prevalent local association; it was the first local eventing group to form in the Rocky Mountain West and has been a fundamental component of the development of Area IX as it exists today. For those interested in educational opportunities and awards programs beyond what Area IX offers, you can join your local MSEA organization for a low fee. You can use the drop-down tab above to access contact information for MSEA and it’s chapters.

Also critical to the Area is Wasatch Range Eventing Association (WREA) of Utah and Cheyenne Dressage & Eventing of Wyoming. Both serve very similar functions as MSEA for their respective states.

OTHER USEFUL LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS:
